100 REASONS TO VOTE
OUR WHY
We’re not here to beg you to vote.
We’re here to make you want to.
Let’s be honest: most messages about voting sound like recycled school assemblies. “It’s your civic duty.” “People died for this right.” Important? Yes. Inspiring? Not exactly.
We started 100 Reasons to Vote because the old ways of talking about democracy aren’t working for a generation raised on climate collapse, housing crises, and political side-eyes.

We’re three journalism students — two Gen Zers and one ex-CEO turned full-time student — who got tired of watching our peers tap out of politics, not because they don’t care, but because no one’s speaking their language.
So we decided to build a podcast that doesn’t lecture — it listens.
That doesn’t simplify — it sharpens.
That doesn’t guilt — it gets it.
BECAUSE HERE'S WHAT WE BELIEVE
🗳️ Voting isn’t the finish line. It’s the starting gate.
Real change doesn’t just come from casting a ballot — it comes from knowing who’s on it, what’s at stake, and how the system works (or doesn’t).
📢 Democracy is broken, but it’s still ours to fix.
We’re not sugarcoating it — politics feels rigged, out of reach, and out of touch. But opting out won’t solve that. Showing up just might.
🎙️ We’ve got voices. We’re using them.
This podcast is our way of taking up space in a system that usually overlooks us. We’re not waiting to be invited in. We’re pulling up chairs, asking hard questions, and holding power to account.
WHY YOUTH - WHY NOW?
Because if Gen Z voted like Boomers, we’d be running the country.
Because silence looks a lot like consent.
Because rage without action is just performance.
We’re not here to romanticize democracy. We’re here to rebuild it. One episode, one story, one reason to vote at a time.
