100 REASONS TO VOTE!
A PODCAST FOR DEMOCRACY
You're Already Changing the World. Why Aren't You Voting For It?
What if voting didn’t feel like homework? What if democracy came with a playlist?
We know politics can feel like a textbook you never want to open. Voting? Even less likely. Especially when you're out there organizing, marching, and making your voice heard right now, with impact you can actually feel.
But the truth bomb hits fast: the smallest voter group is the one with the most at stake – young people. You’re advocating, you’re active, you’re demanding change. Yet, when it comes to the ballot box, the numbers drop off a cliff. Especially in local elections? 20% youth turnout! Seriously? Maybe it feels like you don’t have the time. Or maybe it just doesn't spark your interest. Or maybe – and this is the killer – you just don’t believe your vote makes a damn impact.
Spoiler alert: Your vote could sway an election. Like, actually change things. So, if activism is your energy, consider voting your amplifier. We're not here to tell you who to vote for. This is a safe, non-partisan space. We're here to figure out why voting matters at all.
100 Reasons to Vote isn’t your typical civics class. It’s a student-led podcast created by three women who decided to stop doomscrolling and start digging: We’re here to ask better questions, challenge broken systems, and flip the script on political confusion. From the ballot box to the backbenchers, we explore why voting still matters — even when it feels like no one’s listening.
INTRODUCING THE 100 REASONS TO VOTE PODCAST
Why we started this podcast:
Because we got tired of hearing “my vote doesn’t count.”
Because we saw what happens when decisions are made for us, not with us.
Because democracy dies in disengagement — and we’re not here to let it fade quietly.
Forget dry lectures. We're talking stories you'll want to listen to. Real people, sharing their one big WHY for casting a ballot.
From Canadian Gen-Z activities, US Congressmen, King Charles Medal winners, managers of economic research forums, fellow students and everyone in between. We're exploring the impact of voting through lived experiences.
This isn't just another podcast. It's a dose of democracy in action. It's about helping you find the time, interest, and belief in your own impact to take your activism to the next level – by actually casting a ballot.
Meet the Team Who Dares to Believe in Your Vote.

And meet Pam Hackett: A student with a twist – she's also a former CEO. Bringing strategic vision and the understanding that systems (like democracy) need engaged participants to function.
Yes, we're students. Yes, one of us used to run companies. And yes, two of us are living the Gen Z experience, navigating the exact world this podcast aims to influence.

LISTEN TO THE FEATURED EPISODE
If you’re Gen Z and just survived another federal election cycle, congratulations—you made it through the storm of lawn signs, leader memes, and promises that aged faster than a TikTok trend.
Let’s be honest: this election wasn’t just a vote—it was a vibe check on the future. And Gen Z? If you showed up you had real questions: Who’s actually listening? Who’s still talking down to you? And why does it feel like half the campaign strategies were built by someone’s uncle who just discovered Instagram?
This debrief isn’t a civics class recap. It’s the post-game locker room. The group chat gone public. The breakdown of what just happened, what actually matters, and why Gen Z might be the political power bloc no one saw coming—but should’ve.
In this episode, we unpack the election.
